Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit and debit card payment. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay and/or non-delivery of your order.

We accept Mastercard, Visa, Delta, Maestro and Solo. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are also ready to ship. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, email or over the Internet.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under/over priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Shipping And Handling

We aim to dispatch all orders within 48 hours. Orders are dispatched by First Class Post or UPS on a standard delivery service.  If you have not received your goods within 4 working days please telephone us on 01980 630281. Postage and Packing for UK Mainland is charged at £6.00 for orders under £100.00. Orders over £100.00 are carriage free. We do not ship any products outside the UK and Eire. To find an international distributor please refer to the relevant suppliers website.

Order of Goods

On receipt of your order, we will email you with an order confirmation and an order number. Please quote this order number on any correspondence to us.

Although we keep a large range of products in stock, we may occasionally be out of stock on certain products. If we should be out of stock we will email you with an estimated delivery time up to a maximum of thirty days. We are in the hands of the manufacturers sometimes and always give you their estimated delivery times on out of stock items. If this is unacceptable to you, you may cancel the order without any obligation and your payment will be refunded to you immediately.

Every effort is made to ensure the colours, styles and sizes depicted on the site match as closely as possible those of the actual product. Due to technical limitations, some colours may vary.

Any promotional discounts given are subject to availability and are not transferable at any time to previous or future sales.

Receipt of Goods

Orders will be delivered by Royal Mail First Class Post or UPS on their standard delivery service. Deliveries are made on weekdays only (Monday to Friday) except Bank Holidays, and require a signature. If no one is available to sign for the goods Royal Mail or UPS will leave a card with details on how to rearrange delivery. Delivery will need to be arranged within 5 days of receipt of your card otherwise the goods will be returned to us and a further delivery charge will be made to yourselves.

Delay in Goods

We use Royal Mail or UPS for all our deliveries. We have found them 99% reliable but sometimes things can go wrong. We cannot guarantee deliveries will always be made within 48 hours, as sometimes things like weather and transport problems delay delivery. All delivery delays will be notified to the customer within 24 hours of purchase. We cannot be held liable for any consequential loss caused by late delivery or failure to deliver by the companies appointed carrier. You can never the less always track your parcel to see where it is and why a delay has occurred.

Shortages or Damaged Goods

If you receive either an order, where there is a shortage or the goods are damaged, please contact us within 3 days of receipt. Please keep all original packaging and call us for instructions on 01980 630281. We will endeavour to get the goods uplifted and replaced as quickly as possible.

Unused Goods

In the unlikely event of you not being satisfied with any purchase from richardblake.co.uk you may return the unused goods within 30 days of receipt for a full refund of the purchase price. We regret that refunds cannot be made for products that show signs of use. We cannot offer refunds on any Custom Made products that are ordered.

Sending back a product

It is the receivers' responsibility to return any unwanted or faulty goods. We accept no responsibility for Returns not received or damaged in transit.

As a Powakaddy Service Centre if you have a faulty Powakaddy product under warranty or not we will repair/replace it as appropriate within four days to Powakaddy Industry Standards. Please contact us first by phone or email so as we can identify possible faults and solutions. We will deliver the repaired product back to you free of charge and will only charge for repair work not covered by warranty.

Undelivered items. We require a signature for all goods. In the event of a failed delivery and the goods are returned to us, we do charge for redelivery. If the receiver refuses a delivery we will only refund for the cost of the goods and not for the post and packaging.

Delivery Schedule. We deliver your order right away. We will normally send your order to you in 2 business days.

Back Orders. If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges. For orders made from the UK 20% VAT is added.

Credit Card Security. When the order is placed on our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Guarantee. We guarantee your satisfaction. All products offered are guaranteed for a period of twelve months backed by the manufacturer unless otherwise stated from the date of the original invoice against failure to provide reasonable wear owing to defective workmanship or materials. The guarantee excludes faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse.

Please note these terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

We will collect and store any personal data that you may volunteer whilst using our services. All information is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

We will use the data for our own marketing purposes, including market research and to keep you up to date with any offers or information regarding our store or direct sales channels. Individuals registering their details or subscribing to the newsletter online may do so on the understanding that they are aware of the intended purpose for the collection of data. They will be sent further information/communication via email only.
